Hey everyone,
In session 9 we we’re introduced to VoiceThread. This is yet another collaborative
tool that can be used to interact with peers, colleagues, or friends. Similar to
some of the other tools we’ve been discussing, VoiceThread allows you to share
and discuss various documents with others. You can easily add your comments to presentations
by typing in a response or recording one.
Similar to Google docs and Evernote you can keep your VoiceThread
private, share it with only certain people, or make it available to the public.
When exploring this tool on my own I found it quite easy to navigate.
Creating an account was very easy, providing just your name and an email. After
setting up an account I could easily add my comments to the presentation. The
presentation I viewed and commented on fits in nicely with the course, it was
titled Digital Rights & Responsibilities Discussion. A topic that is
important for anyone who uses the Internet. I was able to share my opinion on
whether cell phones should be allowed in the classroom, and which technological
tools would be beneficial in the classroom or work.
Below I have embedded a link to the presentation. If you have time I
encourage you all to view it and share your own opinions on the topic. Enjoy!
